What more could I have asked - Ms Dua was so friendly which put me at ease from the beginning. She has maintained this approach throughout my consultation , surgery ,aftercare and follow up checks. After surgery I was refered for follow up treatment as Ms Dua recommended - thanks to Sascha (as she has become known to my family) I have since been given an all clear As a woman I must emphasise what a great comfort it has been knowing that my treatment was entrusted to somebody who actually cared not only for me as a patient but also found time to consider the welfare of my family - Thank you from all of us

Having read the other reviews left here for Sascha, I feel there is little left for me to add except that every single positive comment about her friendliness, kindness, professionalism and caring approach is true. When you meet with her she is your surgeon, your confidant and your friend, all rolled into one special package. She engenders confidence in you when you don't feel it, she makes you feel safe when you feel your world is being rocked and furthermore, she is a first class surgeon who is at pains to cause minimum disfigurement whilst doing the job she needs to do on you. A gem and worthy of all the praise and recognition bestowed upon her.

When you are diagnosed with something as frightening as breast cancer it is made less scary if you have a surgeon who is smiley, friendly, confident and therefore makes you feel confident in your treatment and who also has a sense of humor. All of these things and more describe Sascha . From the moment I met her I felt safe. Hugs are always there along with reassurance, not only for me but for my daughter and husband, Sascha even rang them as soon as she completed my operation. It is also a credit that along with her team and the staff in the Broomfield Breast Unit I was diagnosed and had my surgery all within six weeks and for that I can not thank them enough. I feel truly lucky to have Sascha and her colleagues looking after me at this stressful time. One heck of a lady.

My mum was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. The treatment and care she has received has been second to none. Sascha has always been kind to mum as well as looking out for me and my dad through this scary and nerve racking experience. During consultations Sascha was always open honest kind compassionate but most of all she was happy and buoyant. She was happy to answer any questions and we never felt rushed or kept in the dark about any information. Sascha came round to see mum on the ward the morning of the surgery. She said that the op could take up to 2 hours and she could be gone for 3. Sascha suggested me and dad went in to town to take our minds off it. I obviously looked doubtful as Sascha asked for my mobile number. I was expecting the ward to call when mum was back. I was gobsmacked when Sascha personally called me as soon as the surgery was over. She reassured me that mum was fine and the op had been straight forward and successful. Thankfully mums cancer hasn't spread and we are now waiting for her to begin radiotherapy but on leaving her last appointment Sascha said anyone of us could contact her if we needed to ask her anything at any time. I cannot fault Sascha or the rest of her team.
